
he Old Cedar County Jail in Tipton, Iowa is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Old Jail and Residence is the Official Museum for the Iowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association (ISSDA).

from 10am to 2pm.

The annual meeting of the Cedar County Friends of
Historic Preservation (Old Cedar County Jail) will be held at the Mill Creek Cafe in Clarence on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at 6 P.M. Cost of the meal is $12 which includes meal and gratuity.
We must have your reservations by Wednesday,
January 4, 2012. We are not ordering off the menu, so
dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 P.M.
Following dinner, there will be a short meeting that will include Secretary's report, Treasurer's report and President's annual report. There will be election of officers and anyone in attendance may bring up ideas in reference to the Old Jail Museum.
